Everything about this central hotel was brand-new. Everyone was very good and polite. I had fine food for breakfast on fried egg. Enjoyed the location, it was stunning and excellent just off supermarkets, Lake District attractions and the shops. Was a superb base for weekend.

The location was convenient and ideal, next to Lake District attractions and tourist hot spots, the town centre, and the Lake District and easily accessible. Moreover, it was at a short distance from a historic fortress.

The rooms were beautifully presented and a nice size and the location was excellent by takeaways. Moreover, it's not far from the centre of town as well as the shops, restaurants.
Wi-Fi was very poor, made me a little nervous.

Do not compare Jeffersons Hotel & with other hotels. Central position of the venue. Plenty of restaurants to eat close by, like Panda Garden that was only 5 minutes' walk away. Staff always loyal.
